We work very hard to ensure WPGlobus compatibility with each and every WordPress theme and plugin. Starting with the Version 1.2.9, WPGlobus introduces the Multilingual Configuration File.
The wpglobus-config.json file can be used not only by theme authors but also by website developers, for instance, when making child themes.
WPGlobus is providing backward compatibility to those themes who already have the WPML configuration file, wpml-config.xml. However, not all features of WPGlobus are supported by WPML’s configuration, so the WPML support is going to be very limited.
Theme compatibility is going to be even better in one of the next versions when we launch the Multilingual Customizer module.
